A fast-living, cynical London music executive on a stag weekend in a remote Cornish village is pranked by his boss trying to sign up a group of shanty singing fishermen. As he struggles to gain the respect or enthusiasm of the unlikely boy band and their families he's drawn deeper into their traditional way of life which values friendship and community over fame and fortune.
