Happy Birthday to Us!

It's been 15 years since Central Cinema screened its first movie and it's time to celebrate. 

What better way to celebrate a milestone than with a makeover!

Our lovely community-run cinema will have a newly fabulous foyer in June for patrons to enjoy thanks to the support of Central Otago Community Trust, Central Lakes Trust, Aotearoa Foundation, Pub Charity and our tireless volunteers.

Be the first to experience the new ambience, and enjoy a birthday celebration, on Tuesday 21st June at 6pm.

Join us to reminisce about the old days, share some fabulous food, and watch our amazing patron Sam Neill's latest movie Jurassic World Dominion. Lots of lovely treats will be on offer on the night. Just $20 a ticket for a fantastic night out.

On Thursday 23rd June, you are welcome to come along to see both our renovations and the premiere of Elvis.

Tickets can be bought here for the screening. Shhh...don't tell anyone...but there might be birthday cake...so we recommend coming a little early to enjoy your treat in our newly renovated foyer.
